Recentemente, assisti a 10 vídeos intitulados The History of English in Ten Minutes produzidos por The Open University. Como os vídeos têm excelente conteúdo, resolvi compartilhá-los com você. Vendo o material, descobri que os normandos inseriram cerca de 10 mil palavras no inglês; e Shakespeare criou mais de 2000 mil vocábulos. Aprendi também que, atualmente, existem variantes do inglês tais como o “Hinglish” (inglês indiano) e o “Chinglish” (inglês chinês). Interessante a sua dica dos vídeos sobre a história da língua inglesa. Mas são apenas mais um “entertainment pop” que, no fundo, pouco acrescenta. Para quem quer “entertainment with sustenance” e realmente se divertir aprendendo muito sobre a história e cultura do idioma, é melhor ler ONCE UPON A TIME UM INGLÊS… (3ª Edição) http://www.clubedeautores.com.br e http://www.agbook.com.br .

Infelizmente não temos ainda esse vídeo traduzido. Recomendo que você ouça material de acordo com seu nível de inglês. Baixe o e-book “70 Dicas para Melhorar seu Inglês”. Nele, há dicas para aperfeiçoar “listening”.
